"Maybe if I'm the last one to fall asleep, maybe if I can stay awake that long, everything will be OK in the morning." A childhood plagued by alcoholism and violence tempered by sweet memories of good times growing up in the 1940 and 1950s. A life of unique challenges and adventures that have confronted Brian and his wife, Les over their fifty years together, some humorous some tragic. Still today they face daunting questions and trials as they try to raise their grandchildren and bridge a chasm between themselves and the children's drug addicted mentally ill mother. I't been called "an astounding story! The writing exceptionally good with just the right balance between honesty, humor and poignancy." Readers may also find solace and cheer that life has so many rewards and that God will sometimes lend a helping hand along the way.

Great memoir! whether you know Brian (and Leslie) Cosacchi or not. B.C. is an amazing story-teller with vivid recollections of the simple and innocent era of the 1940's-50's although his upbringing was rather turbulent (family alcoholism). Interesting to watch him grow up, mold his own identity, get married and then face addiction again. Anyone who has inherited the job as caretaker for grandchildren will further benefit from Brian and Leslie's experiences with their little ones and hope he writes a sequel to this first brave, honest and helpful memoir. Oh, it's not all sad stuff; the book is awash with sweet humor, appealing family members and friends. And hope!

It'll Be OK In The Morning Brian Cosacchi 9781461134077 Books Reviews

I know the author of this book and we share a lot of mutual experiences. He is the most wonderful person and has been a mentor for me over the years. I am thrilled to know him and would recommend this book to anyone who has come from a family with addition issues.
This book is not only highly entertaining, but a reflection of one's life so far - and in doing so a gift to future generations of any family burdened with alcoholism. Mr. Cosacchi is a gifted writer, holding very little back in often humorous, critical self review. This memoir throws a caution flag to future generations of the devastation of drug and alcohol use within families, and by throwing a glaring light into the subject can provide hope for our children and grandchildren. It manages to do all this without any hint of preaching, but instead in a "can't put it down", page turning life story.
